Meg, Kiera and Haley love animals, so they decided to raise money for Prairie Paws. They made bracelets. They wanted to become more involved in the community and did this fundraiser selling the home made bracelets for $.50 each. In just five days, the girls raised $111 for the pets at Prairie Paws Rescue!! "Just because we are only 11 years old, doesn't mean we can't change the world we live in." Meg, Kiera and Haley want to inspire other kids to do things with Kindness.
Thank you girls and your Teacher Danielle Buchanan for a successful fundraiser for Prairie Paws!!
Wally was surrendered to Prairie Paws Rescue at 6 weeks of age. He was hit by a car and the owners couldn't afford the cost to fix his broken leg after being hit by a car.
Prairie Paws Rescue had to call in a specialist from Fargo to do the surgery. The surgery was completed and cost was over $1,200. Wally would need 4-6 weeks low key recovery time. No jumping, running, etc. and crate rest and potty breaks on a leash. After a few weeks of recovery time, Wally developed a bulge in the leg resulting in the surgery needing to redo the surgery with another rod and plates. Again recovery time 4 plus weeks and additional cost to Prairie Paws to get Wally ready for his new family.

Wally is expected to make a full recovery once he is healed.
Prairie Paws Rescue would like to say a special thanks to John Saul of Modern Woodmen. John made a special and much needed donation to our organization. His donation helped Prairie Paws purchase four pet crates at Tractor Supply Co. of Jamestown to transport animals from harms way to our rescue, to vet appointments, adoption events, and to foster homes safely.
Thanks again, John, for your donation and helping our animals at Prairie Paws!!
