Prairie Paws Rescue was contacted by a family member through referral from the sheriff's department. A situation where there were over 26 dogs in poor condition needing our help in rural Eddy County. The owner unable to provide care due to health reasons.
Prairie Paws arrived on the location Friday afternoon 2/23 and began removing these dogs with owners permission.
More trips were made Saturday 2/25 and Sunday 2/25 to get these dogs into our rescue and other rescues willing to help.
The majority of the dogs are Labradoodles.
All dogs are placed or have places to go.
Prairie Paws Rescue would appreciate any donation to help with our expenses to get these dogs to a safe place and onto a better life.

These two dogs were found by Pipestem Campground, just north of Jamestown.
They are currently being cared for by a local family until their owners can be located or taken to a rescue or shelter.
If you have information about them or know the owners, please call (701) 368-9559 with proof they are your dogs.

This Spring, be sure to check which plants are pet-friendly, and which plants may be harmful for your pets. Plants like Gerber Daisies, Roses, Spider Plants, Petunias, and Sunflowers are perfectly fine to be around your pets.
